Yeah. It's purple. Hopefully not too purple.
But I digress. I figured since I updated my layout I should also update the long forsaken part of having a blog known as
posting. Unfamiliar word, eh?
I've been rather busy of late. Given, that's what I always say, right? Well, I've been exceptionally busy. I doing three Christmases this year - once in the 1850s, once in the 1890s, and then the 'real' Christmas. The 1850's (1859, to be exact) is tomorrow - and I can't wait! I'm in the dancing scene with some of the other local girls and Anna and Nona are playing Abbie and Bessie Casey again. I got upgraded from servitude!

I'll definitely try to do a post reenactment wrap up on Sunday or Monday. If I don't and you still want to hear, remind me. *grin*
The 1890's Christmas event is next Saturday, the 15th. That's my big show! I'm in charge of the event, which is down at the Martinson Cabin. One week left! But it's going to be lots of fun, even though it is really small . . . mostly because we can do whatever we want during it, as far as accuracy, etc. Nona and I are calling the shots and it's awesome, haha. We're not going to be farbs!

You'll definitely get updates and pictures and wrap-ups from it.

I haven't really had time to even give thought to our real Christmas yet I've been so busy with everything else. Frankly, I can't wait for December 16th, though I'd not skip over tomorrow and next Saturday for anything. I'd just rather have less stress and work in between.
